To celebrate one year of The Screaming Meemies, the screenplay for the now cancelled The Screaming Meemies Part II has been made available for the first time ever!
The Screeming Meemies Part II was Written across three weeks in January 2024 in response to a pivotal point in my life at the time.
It is a very personal story to me, with its themes linking closely to the emotions I felt during my time at Falmouth. Consequently, I wanted to use the amazing people and resources I had at hand at the time to create my most emotionally challenging film yet.
Unfortunately, my situation worsened and I had to leave Falmouth in order to find stability. In doing so, the film lost one of its most unique assets - the new location!
This version of the film will never be made and while a reworked sequel isn't impossible, it is almost impossibly unlikely.
I wanted to share this story with you all so you could experience Matt's final chapter in some capacity, even if it isn't in the way I intended and I wanted to thank the crew in Falmouth who signed on to make this project. They were all talented, wonderful individuals.
I hold this world, and the character of Matt very close to my heart. His first story gave me my first taste of semi-professional filmmaking and acted as a gateway into the world of film at a high level through Falmouth. His second acted as a truly powerful form of healing and self reflection. I honestly Don't know if I would still be here without him and in turn, without the people who helped me bring this to life. I am eternally grateful for the experience working on these films gave me and I am so incredibly proud to be able to share them both, in some form, with you.
